Make iPod work on Songbird 1.2.0 under ubuntu 9.10

The iPod used to work with the official addon till ubuntu 9.04 but the iPod fails to be detected on ubuntu 9.10.

I was also frustrated since the evening. But, I got a simple solution.

Steps:-

1) Make sure that your iPod is disconnected and Songbird is not open. 2) Open terminal and type "killall -9 nautilus" (without quotes). 3) Connect the iPod and wait for few seconds (10 or 15 seconds). 4) Press "Alt+F2" and type "nautilus" (without quotes) and press enter. 5) Open Songbird.

This should work….!
